He has reportedly been experiencing a “sciatica flare-up” in his back. While being carried through the airport, 56-year-old Tyson took selfies with fans while holding a huge walking stick in his lap.

Exactly three weeks after being spotted moving cautiously while out in New York City, Tyson made his most recent public appearance while being helped into a wheelchair by an airport staffer.

The boxing legend was captured on camera carrying what seemed to be the identical walking stick he used in Miami as he made his way from a car to his hotel room.

Tyson admitted last month that he thinks his “expiration date” is getting close:

We’re all gonna die one day of course. Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.
