Southampton rallied from a two-goal deficit to earn a point against Leeds United at St. Mary’s. Rodrigo Moreno’s brace appeared to have secured the points for the visitors, but Saints rallied late in the game to ensure a share of the spoils.

Mohammed Salisu had a forgettable first game of the season against Tottenham, scoring a bizarre own goal in a 4-1 defeat. He did, however, complete the most dribbles (2) and had a rating of 5.0.
