The Gunners have not qualified for the Champions League since 2017, despite coming close to finishing in the top four last season.

However, they eventually lost out to Tottenham in the competition. They have, however, responded well to that setback by signing players such as Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Both players, as well as other new signings, have looked good in pre-season and should help the Gunners thrive this season.

Schmeichel predicted the league’s standings at the end of the season, telling The New York Times:

The competition will come from Chelsea, and from Spurs, who have signed well and in Antonio Conte have a very clever manager who is so good at getting the maximum out of his players.

I’m also looking (at) Arsenal and for the first time in a long time thinking top four
